London Borough of Barking and Dagenham
Groundwork London has been working in partnership with a wide-range of public, private and third sector organisations in Barking and Dagenham over the last five years. Together we have delivered projects including: landscape designs and master planning of a number of the Borough's major parks following community consultation, and the engagement of local communities as stakeholders in the sustainable use of the Borough's waterways, such as the River Roding, as well as addressing issues relating to health and wellbeing.
Groundwork London chair's the Epping Forest and River Roding Area 2 sub group, which forms part of the East London Green Grid (ELGG) programme led by the GLA. Key future projects will be supporting major strategic open space improvements such as Abbey Green and Mayesbrook-Goodmayes Park.
