Visit Groundwork at Children & Young People Now Show – 19-20 May
Groundwork will be at the Children & Young People Now Show on 19th and 20th May. Come and find out all about the services we provide by visiting us at Stand 333.
We are one of the leading providers of services to support children and young people across the UK and believe young people need positive activities and opportunities to be involved in the decision-making process within their communities. Our projects give them the skills and confidence to get involved through activities that provide a positive outlet for their energy and creativity. We also give young people opportunities to move into further education, training or employment. And we work with schools to support at risk young people, providing them with positive experiences and building the skills that will allow them to engage with the curriculum.
We work with schools, youth services, youth groups and clubs, and a wide-range of other partners and funders to develop and deliver projects that directly address the needs of children and young people. Our work ranges from building play spaces and developing school grounds, to training teachers in sustainable development, to providing volunteering opportunities for young people to learn new skills, build confidence, get involved in their neighbourhood, and move into further training, education or employment.
